Dutch site Pocketinfo has an exclusive interview PodCast with Jim Morrison, the founder and CEO of I-mate and had some scoops about new devices coming up soon!

Morisson announced a few things:

- The problems and impossibilities about upgrading of the I-mate Jam to WM5
- A new device (a PDA without phone function, featuring WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS) coming in July
- A new product line to be launched at September 24th!
- A global partnership between I-mate and Skype:

Newly manufactured i-mate™ PDA2k and i-mate™ PDA2 handsets will be produced with Skype’s award-winning software preloaded, enabling i-mate™ owners to use Skype immediately on start-up of their device. Both handsets are dual mode GSM/GPRS Wifi handsets that, with Skype included, allow users to make free, superior quality voice calls wherever they are worldwide. Skype software will also be installed on new i-mate™ JAMs.
