5th TIME!!!!! (4 other attempts failed)

5 posts all 5 deleted following a coincidence of a backspace to edit my message within Entering your Post section.

Please remove JAVA (assumed 2b JAVA) adverts from POST input section cos if u hit backspace at the sametime as an ADVERT REFRESH then it reverts to IE shortcuts which backspace = BACK
hitting FOWARD from there only allows u 2 start again.

5 messages now, love Modaco (e200-m2000) but this is REALLY BAD guys!!!!

I know u need advertising and goodluck, spent several £100s in the online Modaco shop but this is beyond the JOKE!!!!

cant reply with anything decent as during typing and naturally hitting backspace if the JAVA REFRESH for adverts happens i lose the cursor icon in the window therefore having to click back in the post type section to continue reply.

Fine but throw in the every 5-10sec refresh and hitting backspace (ODDS SEVERLY NARROWED) and goodbye longwinded message FFS.

COME ON GUYS UR BETTER THAN THIS!!!!

I'm seeing this too, it only started happening today - whenever I open a post, something refreshes every 30 seconds. The page that seems to be causing it is loaded in a hidden iframe:

I've read people saying that, but it doesn't happen to me (the refreshes still happen, but I never lose my posts)

I use IE v6.something at work, and Firefox at home

Ditto, which is why I need to investigate.

Firstly, there should be no Java adverts, secondly, the refresh is cycling-ads in an iFrame, so shouldn't affect the main page.

As I said tho, I will try and track down the problem.

i've only had it happen with firefox at home - IE at the orifice seems ok from memory...

spotted it a few days ago but i'm not exactly a prolific post-er so haven't got a particular pattern other than the same basic symptoms others have reported

I've had something refreshing too - something to do with "tribal fusion", but as I'm viewing the Plus site, there shouldn't be any adverts.

Odd, seriously odd!

yeah, I'm a plus member too and I'm still seeing it. Actually the only reason I noticed it was I had my headphones on at work, and I kept hearing the IE "navigate" click sound when I wasn't doing anything...

It's asking me to enter network password for celltrack.spv-developers.com but doesn't mind being cancelled !

Haven't been to pub yet, either  ;)

I think that's because the CellTrack server is having problems, anyone who has the celltrack location image in their sig will produce this login box.

Foward only produces a reply post page or add new post whatever but with all blank fields!
Internet Explorer - Vers 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2
Noticed issue still present! COME ON GUYS!!!
Maybe its not JAVA but same principal for a refresh call to the browser to update the page as most simple JAVA REFRESH codes apply for.
As someone else replied, the click "Navigation" sound could be heard through their headphones.
Cant you just lose the advert within the reply section?
I mean lets be honest if your typing a reply then its highly unlikely your reading an advert way up the top of the page once you've scrolled down to the post area now is it???
COME ON GUYS...

Here's another thing.
My guess is that the Celltrack sigs are causing it when they update locations, but that still wouldn't explain it logically. Surely they would all reappear if that was the cause :?:

Certain topics keep reappearing in 'New Posts' despite there being no actual additions since last viewing, or indeed for some time. Mike-Oh's 'Scones' one just did it and Beersoft's 'Voting Fun' does it regularly.

Oh, and Confused smiley still doesn't work (see above) ;)

i think the posts that keep reappearing are the poll ones, they get bumped if someone votes :s

but the

is getting right on my tits (so to speak) as it causes doinks and random reloads and "blah blah blah server not found" errors
