i've done the same upgrade, managed to get gprs to work by setting up a new connection for "My ISP" and calling it Orange Internet. Click next, then call the access point "orangeinternet" without the quotes. click next, and leave username and passwords blank.

i havent managed to get mms working though, and although i received a mms, it couldnt actually download it. i tried configuring up a mms dial up account, but now for some reason, my entire mms messages container has disappeared.

so now i have no way of configuring mms

anyone got any ideas how to get it back and thus, send & recieve msgs?

woohoo, it now works..!!

turns out i had the right settings in anyway, but since i'd upgraded to the imate rom, if you click messagin, tools, mms options

there was a "sample server" set up in there.

once you set the new orange uk server in there, you need to tap and hold on it to "set as default" then you can delete the old one.

it all works fine then!

hope that helps anyone who was being troubled by it!
