Hoi,
ff in het engels van een ander forum gekopieerd hoor, ik hoop dat jullie het niet erg vinden?
I have Orange now for 22,50E/month.. and I'm using my old Orange SPV classic.
I'd like my next smartphone to be a PDAphone, like the SPV M500 / M2000 (Qtek models S100 & 9090). The problem is that I have to renew my contract within three months. For now the SPV M500 (Qtek Magician) is still very expensive, but as you know, Orange drops the prices after a while. I was wondering if any of you have any idea how many months need to pass before they do so? I know that the C550 is coming soon, and probably within 6months or so, the Magician 2 (SPV M550?) will dominate =) But it could be that Orange just lowers prices every 3 or 4 months or so? Does anyone have a clue?
And too bad the Magician doesn't have WiFi.. duh! Somebody at HTC should get fired! Thank God they're going to fix it. Also, I've been looking at the cheapest way to get one... it's actually to buy one 2nd hand for ~300E and renew your contract SIM-only for 1 year at half-price. Otherwise you'll pay ~575E for it over 1 year minimum (including subscription fees).

Die 575E is bij een 1 jarig Orange 32,50 abbo, waar je dan ~170E moet bijbetalen. Probleem is dat je dan nog geen WiFi hebt. En dat is toch eigenlijk wel precies waar je zo'n ding voor wilt hebben, toch? Zo'n SDIO WiFi kaartje kost je ook nog 80E. Kun je bijna een Qtek 9090 (SPV M2000) voor kopen... maar dan loopt je weer met een baksteen te bellen ;-(
Bij T-mobile kun je de Magician (Qtek S100, SPV M500) krijgen voor 490E, 2 jaar een contract van 12,50 + de rest bijbetalen. Maarja da's wel twee jaar voor veel minder belminuten.
Maargoed mijn oorspronkelijke vraag is dus hoelang het nog duurt voordat Orange de prijzen verlaagt. Alvast bedankt, Groetjes,
