A long walk to get to umist or a decent supermarket from there.
That little tescos has a rubbish range.
I usually walk to the ASDA in Hulme, less then 10 mins from here, and of course to get to Uni I just have to cross the road

I'm on Force9 (the same netowrk as PlusNet). It's always been rock solid. They had contention and seed issues a few months back, but all's sorted. There's a £20.99 deal and a £22.99 deal that includes website, and use of P2P. I definitely recommend it. It's fixed IP too.

Fixed IP for that price rocks, my line was fixed for the first three months, but since the new year Pipex have been renewing it once or twice every week

Easy way to stop that is get a router and leave it permanently connected.

I'm with V21 - ADSL for £19.99 a month and trouble free so far. Sorry... it was their "ADSL opening offer" (Free connection AND £20 a month!) no longer available.
But to answer your question as objectively as possible, why not check out "www.net4nowt.com" - a great site that lists every UK ISP and every tarrif, plus ISP-specific forums, user-reviews, smart search engine....?

We do. Pipex renew it from their end the bastards. Confuses the hell out of all chat/file sharing type apps :/
