I need to split the 2.5mm headphone socket on my c500 into a double 2.5mm- does anyone know if an adapter exists?

I know they do for the regular 3.5mm, so perhaps someone somewhere has done it.

Yes they do exist and they're called headphone y-adaptors or y-splitters. Pay close attention if you buy at radioshack because often they use mono plugs instead of stereo ones.
