Increasing the battery life is a bonus for me. $5 plus shipping is frankly ridiculus - this seller lets you combine purchases for cheaper shipping :o Been using mine for the last few days and it's great - it charges from the PSP PSU and it links into the PSP's charging port so when using it the PSP thinks it's on external power, once it's drained the PSP uses it's own battery.
