Hi all,

Just recently converted to the Universal from using a Z1010 and Clie.

One thing I can't fathom though. Is there any software that will allow you to book appointments linked directly to a contact and then create a contact history.
Agendus did this for Palm and I though it would be easy to get an equivalent for PPC but  up till now have not found anything. I also need the same app to have user definable fields in the contact list for clients reg numbers etc

My work relies on good contact history and I may be forced to still carry my Palm as well as a very large MDA Pro phone

Unlimited download Home Broadband, at upto 20Mbps for  £7.50 per month, BT line required. pm me to find out more.

...have you looked at Pocket Informant? I am not sure about the contact history, but I think it is one of the best PIMs out there for PPC. Find it at www.handango.com...

Cheers
Nick

Thanks for that TigerNet,

I have allready got PI running on My MDA Pro, There does not seem to be any sort of workable contact history.  Also it runs very slowly on my device ( anybody else expereince this) I am not sure whether it is completely WM5 compatible, or maybe my Unit is just slow. Having never had a PPC device before I am note sure. But my Palm does seem a hell of a lot faster.

Take a look at Agenda Fusion from DeveloperOne. I haven't tried it on a Universal but it's generally a bit lighter weight than PI so it runs a bit faster. I'm not sure that it will give you exactly what you're looking for though.

I have also tried Agenda Fusion.
With this I never got too far as it never took any of my contacts from the buit in Pim on the MDA  Pro. Looking through all the options and the manuals, it does seem that this too doe not support contact history.

Comeback Palm all is forgiven.  ;)

I'm not 100% sure it does what you want it to... but I use PocketBreeze from here.

Funny you should say that Rhaleuk. I have just installed it this morning and it has turned my MDA Pro into a tortoise. Seriously it slows my device up no end.

Pocet Breeze looks like a good piece of software and would be valuble to me if it worked faster on the Pro.

However it still does not address the need of having custom fields for contacts and being able to view a contact history.

Thanks for the tip though
