hi is any one could please tell mewhat is rom version of i mate k jam. i am using qtek 9100. it has  rom version 1.1.7.5 of dated 22/09/2005.

i want to compare just for my knowladge. because there isprize diffrence between these phones.

I have a T-Mobile MDA Vario. It's ROM details are as follows:

ROM version: 1.3.2.2 ENU
ROM date: 9/29/05
Radio version 01.04.10
Protocol version: 4.0.13.17
ExtROM version: 1.3.2.102

The OS details are as follows:

Microsoft Windows Mobile Version 5.0
OS 5.1.70 (Build 14406.1.1.1)

and here are the installed application version numbers:

HTC Camera for Pocket PC: Version 3.00 (Build 21365)
HTC ZIP for Pocket PC: Version 1.11 (Build 21224)

Topic made sticky for future reference. Seems T-Mobile have the newest rom as far as the date goes BUT that doesn't necessarily mean it's the latest does it?

U folks compared Windows Mobile 5 build numbers? And for that matter you can check the version numbers of applications like HTC Camera and HTC Album (the higher the build number the better).

Bartsimp, can u also check in the Start/Settings/System/Version and let us know those? Because they're more useful for comparing to the info given above. Cheers dude.

Sounds like the Orange SPV M3000 has a newer rom as far as the HTC/Microsoft components are concerned (check the protocol version, it's newer then both the K-Jam and 9100). Strange though as I'm hearing more problems and lockups from the SPV M3000 then the other two and it's not even available in the UK! A buggy Orange rom? Only time will tell...

of interest maybe is that it installs a bunch of orange things when it first boots up (lasts maybe 5 mins).

Hey just looked at my new Kjam its roms are
Rom - 1.1.9.3 date - 9/16/05
radio - 01.01.10
protocol - 4.0.13.16
extrom - 1.1.9.104

The clubimate website has a new extrom version - 1.1.9.106
Does anyone know what the new rom has in it? Mine is the version where you can remove the anti-virus and skype?
I have noticed on some stuff, that i can not access the symbols! It says on the space bar SYM but cannot ever see what it does.

You need to type a symbol first (eg "dot" + H for a % sign), then immediately after press dot and space to cycle through the available symbols.
