Submitted this to the downloads section but I dont know if I did it correctly.

Plugins Used/Required:

1) Owner (pre-installed)

2) Carrier (pre-installed)

3) Messaging (pre-installed)

4) Facade (free download from http://www.sbsh.com)

5) Missed Calls (pre-installed)

6) Profile (pre-installed)

7) Fizz Traveller (Pay download from http://www.fizzsoftware.com)

To Install Homescreen:

1) Place all files in "Application Data/Home" Folder

2) Navigate to Settings > HomeScreen

3) Change Homescreen Layout to "Vista-ish"

4) Change Color Scheme to "Default"

5) Change Background Image to "Default"

To Change Start Menu Background...Change Registry to:

1) Navigate to: HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Shell/Rai/:MSStart

2) Click on: Values

3) Check if you have an entry called "BKBitmapFile". If you do not, create a new "String" value.

Name : BKBitmapFile

Value data: \Application Data\Home\BKBitmap.jpg (this is the path to image file)

Have Fun!

No, you dont need Papyrus. Facade works with the built in Calendar DB just like Papyrus. It works great without it. I dont need Papyrus. The built in calendar works just fine for me, and Facade makes me not even use that at all.

I dont know if facade will always be free or not...but it is for now while it's being developed.

For reasons not clear, Facade has stopped working for me, in that everything works, except it doesn't show my Calendar entries anymore. Soon as I move along to Tasks though, and they are shown fine.

I have uninstalled and re-installed numerous times, but to no avail, and I did HAVE this working on my WM5.0 SP5, so I don't know what's up...

For reasons unknown, papyrus has this quirk where your regional settings must be set to US(both language and locale) for it to work on wm5.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

The Trial Version of Papyrus is currently working FINE on my UK English NRE ROM...

Opps Encece

Like how you got the program tab, I managed to get additional tabs to appear but I could never add any applications on to it.

Nice work :)

Thanks. It's an instance of the launcher bar. I cant take credit for that. It's documented on SBSH.net in the Facade forum.

By the way....Newbies Note:

You need to open the XML file (with a plain text editor like notepad) to edit the shortcuts so they point to the correct location of shortcuts and programs on YOUR phone.

Hi,

That's a great looking homescreen.

I don't have Fizz Traveller, and don't want to buy it as I already have Fizz Weather. I don't have any use for the rest of the functions in Fizz Traveller.

Does anyone know how I would have to change the xml file to get the weather data from Fizz Weather instead? I have had a look at the file, and see the section for the plugin, but don't know what and how I would need to amend it.

Thanks for any help!

Jason.

I downloaded a trial of Fizz Traveller to see what the homescreen looks like in all it's glory.

Very nice!

The one issue is that the Apps tab doesn't seem to work. I have amended the paths in the XML file to match my phone, but nothing shows up under the Apps tab.

I am using a C550 from Orange. Standard WM2003SE ROM.

Any ideas? Is the tab working for everyone else?

Jason.

the file structure is different in old os devices. add \storage before all of your links?

I tried that but didn't work. Tried a few other things but I'm assuming there is something else in there that requires WM2005 to work. I assume from your comment that you are using WM2005?

Oh well, I'll certainly use this screen if/when I upgrade to WM2005. Looks great.

If anyone has got the Apps tab to work under WM2003, please let me know?

Cheers,

Jason.

do you have the latest version of facade? .95?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

That did the trick!

The only slight issue now is that I need to change the text colour in the Traveller plugin when not highlighted. Seems to be black when un-highlighted meaning I can only see the icons, and not the day and temperature figures. Not sure where and how I need to change the XML file for that though. Could you let me know how I would change it to white?

Thanks for your help! I'm very pleased with this homescreen, looks very nice.

Jason.

The text colors should be picked up from Color_HomeText and Color_HomeHighlightText.

Did you play with the colors at all?

There is no way to customize the FizzTraveller Plugin so beyond that...I dont know what's going on. I know there are slight differences ion the color codes between 2003 and 2005. Maybe this is one of them.

PS.

I'm going to post a NON-Fizz Traveller version this weekend.

I'll have a play around with the colour codes and see what I can do. I haven't changed any colours so far.

I do actually own Traveller now anyway. Played with the trial for a bit and figured the other features in it were actually quite useful, and made it worth buying. I'll take a look at the non-Traveller version but hopefully I'll sort this one out!

I already owned Fizz Weather and tried to use that instead of Traveller. Couldn't get the plugin to be the right size though, and it made the bottom of the screen look crappy.

Thanks again for the help!

Jason.

Hi, love the theme, but I´d like a version without the travelerplugin, maybe with some smartmonitor stats, such as storage-icon or so... Is that possible?
