i used to have a hard button assigned to launch the Running Apps application that comes with the O2 IIs rom. it was really handy to press a button, and then be able to close down all running apps with a few clicks.

i've upgraded the rom on my blue angel to the t-mobile one 1.42 but the running apps exe doesnt run. i've copied it from the old o2 rom but now it comes up with an error

"error opening the shortcut or locating the target filename"

any ideas anyone?

Guess it must have been integrated into the O2 rom. Never used the software you mention so can't really comment. Couldn't you set up a quick link to the Memory manager in settings?

Oh, and did this Running Apps application have the same bug as the new XDA Exec task manager whereby it shows the Phone App, so causing instability when people close it?

i dont think it was ever possible to close the phone app so no issues there...

how do you set up a link to memory manager?

the only way i can get to the running programs screen is by clicking start>settings>system>memory>running programs

any short cuts?
