;) I have "Tom Tom Navigator" (file) in \windows\start up\programs directory on my M500

The contents of this file are:-

47#"\Windows\Start Menu\Programs.\TomTom Navigator.exe"

In \Programs\Navigator I have TomTom Navigator.exe

How do I get the former to point to (& start) the latter

Thanks v. much for your help

Happy Xmas to you :D

The .LNK file (in the Start Menu) should show the path to the .EXE file

I think you may have mistyped some of the paths, so you might find the following works (if not check the path to the .EXE file on your device again)

47#"\Program Files\Navigator\TomTom Navigator.exe"

Because it's a link to the .EXE file you could put the .EXE file somewhere else - I have TomTom on the Storage Card and save myself 2Mb of memory on the phone

That depends on where you put it.

You can move the Navigator folder manually from the \Program Files to anywhere you like. On mine TomTom Navigator.exe is in \Storage Card\Program Files\Navigator
