Bluetooth problem

Devices:SPV M1000

I have purchased a Motorola H300 bluetooth headset but I cannot get it working with my Orange SPV M1000. I have the latest orange firmware, I have paired the device, I have enabled bluetooth headset mode on the today screen. I have also cold rebooted and added bluetooth tools but still no joy. The headset works fine on other phones. I have read other posts but I still cannot get it working. Is there something I have overlooked?
