On the new UTStarcom ( Audiovox as-was) support site there is a Verizon Wireless blueangel rom. I've downloaded it but haven't tried it out yet so can't give radio versions etc...

It's times like this that I wish I still had my trusty old MDA III :)

Judging from the update filename "HA_SPCS_13600_113_00140_6600.exe" it'll be rom version 1.36. Pretty old considering T-Mobile, i-mate and O2 all have 1.4x now...

But considering Audiovox's previous lack of support for any device it's amazing IMO!

I'd love to know what UTStarcom stands for though. Starcom on it's own sounds much cooler...

I've also made it my goal to get a UTStarcom typhoon or blueangel front cover. How sad is that?....
