Soft/Hard Reset - SMS Deletion?

Hi Guys,

When I soft reset my HDA lastnight it deleted all my Text Messages, is there anyway to stop this happening?

weird? how lont did it take to boot? did anything else change?

I've had it delete unread messages, thats an "undocumented feature", but never ALL messages.

I am rebooting it right using the Stylus to press the little button? Should this be deleting the Mail?

Found out why, I hadnt closed outlook sucessfully.

can you not hold the powwere button down to turn it off?
