copy this file to the \Windows Directory, and then a 3 Seconds press on the red button will Shut down the Device and wont put up the Mio Shut Down App.

Don't work for me. My device is freeze when i push the red button.
Any help?

OK, so how do you then put the device into 'suspend' (i.e. turn the screen off rather than shutting down)?

This App does only Suspend so, it does what it should.

What I find really annoying is that the 3 second press is 3 seconds then release...

You could hold the button down for 10 minutes without it doing anything, it only happens when you release the button.

Annoying...

Couldnt AGree more.
i have another way:

i have SPB Pocket Plus Today plugin installed, and i've put the Suspend BUtton (Enlarged of course) on the toady, so it is very easy to turn off with one finger.
