Hey !

I would like to know if there does exist a alternate player than the Windows Media Player ? It dosn't support variable bit rates .. Its a requirement that it can be run on a certified orange SPV.. As i can't get it unlocked via the orange unlock site..

You can application unlock via the Orange website, just follow one of the guides here
All you do is use passthrough rather than a GPRS connection.

I've come across a handful of 3rd party media players, most of them just for music. the one I have now is TCPMP or Core Media Player. with the right plugins installed, you can play any format you want, even video. I have it on the E200, I'm not too sure how good it'll perform on the E100.
