My PC got a Billionton BT v1.2 dongle that cannot sync with my A701. When clicking on "Connect via Bluetooth" I just got the message:

"Cannot find an existing Bluetooth partnership with a PC that supports ActiveSync. Would you like to set up a partnership now?"

Then I established a partnership between my PC and A701 but no luck. I have tried both driver and BT stack provided by Billionton and MS (Windows XP SP2) but still can't get connected.

Can somebody advise if he can make it work? Detail step is welcome

Try the usual delete and recreate routine.

Or use the help in activesync on your pc. Just search for Bluetooth. The three steps are very well explained. The key is setting it up with incoming BT com ports.
