I'll be there, I enjoyed last year's (appart from the thivery), and I won't have to rush off this year either so there will be time for beer.
Anybody who is thinking of driving, Paddington is a nightmare area to park in, all residents bays and meters (at least £3 hour). If you can find a car park it will cost at least £20 for 4 hours parking. I also think it is in the Borough of Westminster so they will tow you as soon as look at you as there is a parking attendents office around the back of the tube station. I havn't been up in that part of London with a car for a couple of years so this information is a little out of date but I can't think it has got any better.
I just had a look at
National Rail and played around with routes and times, Tamworth to London on a saver return is £32.90 and allow £6 for the Tube. Single tickets may be cheaper but they won't be available until nearer the date.
If you have/want to drive think about stopping just as you get into London, parking will be cheaper and a 1 day travel card from Zone 6 is under £6. Try the JourneyPlanner at
Transport for London for working out how to get round London.
