Getting 1gb SD card soon for SPV M500

Is there any software that can shrink movies etc to fit?

I have DVD Shrink but that shrinks normal movies to a standard DVD-RW

Any ideas/help?

Pocket DivX encoder.

Converts the video into .avi format (So will require you to instal TCPMP to play them) and also converts them to the same resolution as your device

Theres also Tsunami mpeg encoder, but to watch mpeg you'd have to install pocket tv (which I could never get to work on my mpx220). Since I couldn't get pocket tv to work I never got around to trying Tsunami, but I've read good things. Or if your willing to spend a little money you can get Xilisoft video converter. It'll do basically any format you want (divx, xvid, mp4) for any device you want (psp, cell phones, ipod). But for just resizing divx you already have pocket divx is the way to go (or if starting from scratch I do a regular divx then pocket divx).

tcpmp should play mpg's too...

I know this thread was started some time ago

But I never got my 1GB SD card for my M500 :)

Because I have just got a M3100 and a 1GB Micro card ;)

Does the above software noted still work OK or is there any newer versions?

Have seen some PocketTV software

Has anyone tried it??

Yeah, it works fine, thought TCPMP will chug a bit when playing back video if you have lots of programs open. Overall its fine though.
