just bought an spv e200 and unlocked it to accept o2....

the question i have is that is it possible to remove the orange branding? or update with o2 to match my sim???

To remove all the branding including the boot screen you would have to flash the ROM, but you can change the notification screens like the In Call etc with registry tweaks.
Have a look in the Articles section of the site, there is a Topic there called Tweaks and it will guide you on changing the screens.
