Hi, I'm sorry but I just got this phone, need some help with the MiniSD card. I put in a 1G miniSD in the phone and under resource manager it says "unknown" for card storage. I tried reinstalling it with the phone off, same problem. the card is scandisk. Device info..............OS 4.210 and version windows CE. I'm not with cingular so i don't know if i should do their upgrade. The phone is unlocked aswell, purchased from ebay (lol, came from europe in dutch, so i spent all of yesterday changing it to english). Thanx a bunch guy, hope your able to help me and I'm sorry if this is a repost, but i couldn't find an answer to my specific problem. Do i need to load up the card with a card reader then install it?

You should have read the documentation before buying the 1gig card, MPx220s only support upto 512MB.

Unlucky,

Browno

I've read alot about the phone and some people are using 2Gig cards in it, that's why i don't think it's as much of a problem with the size but the card it self. I tried the card in a digital camera and it works, I've also tried to load it up with a card reader and it still doesn't register the mp3z on the phone when i put it in. I STILL NEED HELP GUYS. thanx n e way.

GOT IT, the problem was the SANDISK card, the card is 100% functional, but not compatable with the MPX220, I tried a 1G Kingston and it works flawlessly and the phone registers the memory size as abit below 1gig. So Browno, it says 512 is the max but it's not, I wish I could find a 2G to try before I bought it.

My Sandisk 2gb is a pain in the ass sometimes. I'll have to reboot the phone to get it to transfer files to or from the minisd. And from what I've read sandisk seems to be the prevelant brand amongst those of us with issues with the 2gb. Sadly I have no idea why.
