I have had both the spv m1000 and 2000 pocket pc phones in the past and to connect both of these to my in car tape adaptor I used a 2.5mm (stereo with microphone) plug to a 3.5mm (stereo only) socket adaptor. I have just got an imate jasjar and this has unusally a 3.5mm socket. I still want to plug this into the car but I can't just plug the car tape adaptor in as this is a stereo 3.5mm plug and the socket is a 3.5mm stereo with microphone socket.

I've tried contacting expansys and they can't help and I've also checked out Maplin...anybody got any ideas?

If you want to use it as a handsfree car kit then you're either going to have to make your own or buy one of these, ebay:220001290034. If you just want to use it as a media player a standard 3.5mm stereo cable will work fine, I do this myself and have a bluetooth headset for phone calls. I think the stereo cable/bluetooth combo is better as it give privacy duing calls.
