Guest srs11 Posted June 25, 2006 Report Share Posted June 25, 2006 I have had both the spv m1000 and 2000 pocket pc phones in the past and to connect both of these to my in car tape adaptor I used a 2.5mm (stereo with microphone) plug to a 3.5mm (stereo only) socket adaptor. I have just got an imate jasjar and this has unusally a 3.5mm socket. I still want to plug this into the car but I can't just plug the car tape adaptor in as this is a stereo 3.5mm plug and the socket is a 3.5mm stereo with microphone socket. I've tried contacting expansys and they can't help and I've also checked out Maplin...anybody got any ideas? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you want to use it as a handsfree car kit then you're either going to have to make your own or buy one of these, ebay:220001290034. If you just want to use it as a media player a standard 3.5mm stereo cable will work fine, I do this myself and have a bluetooth headset for phone calls.
