Goingto basics, are you sure you downloaded the crooect ROM as the tmobile site is easy to get the wrong one.

Will the phone boot up at all now? you say recovery works but then you go on to say you have a multi-coloured brick?

File downloaded RUU_Prodigy_2210206_22102109_021911_TMO_UK_WWE_Ship.exe only on on the site

Phone now has no rom on board but the bootloader is active so will boot to the multicoloured screen

the error from the rom loader is 302 communication error

so phone will connect on USB,

most of rom is uploaded

but fails and offers to recover. says recovery is successfull goes to bootloader screen and attempts to transfer rom

bootloader version 1.06

It is common for it to stall at 80%, and indeed 95% - as these are large parts of the flash process.

All I can recommend you try it changing the USB port which your cable is plugged into - try a different one, then put your phone back into bootloader mode (take out the battery, put it back in, and while holding the camera button, insert the live USB cable).

Once back into bootloader mode, try running the RUU again.

Best of luck!

Yes have tried on 2 different PC's different Ports and Cables

Every time error is

ERROR [302]: UPDATE ERROR

the documentation says

ERROR [264, 274] : CONNECTION

ERROR [302~318] : UPDATE ERROR

ERROR [320~328] : INVALID COMMAND

These errors seldom occur. However, if one of these errors occur, it could not be recovered and the device had to be sent back to the customer service center. In this case, you have to flash a new ROM code.

Could anyof you point me to the old RUU for tmobile UK not the current AKU2 version ? so i can try a different ROM version ?

Have you tried disabling all firewalls and antiviral software? - sometimes this can interfere with the upgrade.

Heres a link to older stock rom ftp://[email protected]/Wizard/R...TMO_UK_Ship.exe

If it asks for a password - xda
