.Its the micro switch in the headset socket. Try pushing the headset plug in and out a few times. Otherwise you can try to clean/reset the switch with the end of a paperclip in the socket (CAREFULLY).

If it was stuck in headset mode then it would be the headphone socket,
but as it's stuck in Car profile then there will be a short in the pins on the bottom connector.
The pins on the connector are delicate and can easily be damaged.
