Hi,
Had the QTEK 8500 a few weeks now, and am very impressed.
The only niggle I have is the intermittent GPRS failure. It sometimes errors with "unable to connect. verify you have network coverage and try again". If I reboot the phone it fixes it. My previous phone was an SPV C500 and worked every time. My phone prior to that was the Motorola MPX200. This had imtermittent GPRS problems depending on the ROM I used, mainly the 2003 one.
I setup my GRPS settings and MMS from the various posts, and most of the time, they both work well, but as I've set it to check my mail every 8 hours, and none arrive, it is then I notice connection doesn't work.
A quick question: from when does the automatic mail checking start,i.e 8 hours from when? from when I last connected manually, or is it a set time? When would it be if I set it to "Every day"?
I don't want to keep rebooting the phone to workaround this.
I know my current settings work most of time so perhaps it's a tweak I need.
