For anyone who doesn't know, Noviiremote Deluxe v4.1 is now working on Wizard. I managed to control my TV and DVD player from about 6 metres away, using my MDA Vario, works really well.

Does this work on the hermes as well??

although no point getting it yet as it does not support macro mode. Most of the reason id want something like this is to have all the equipment put on with one keypress

NoviiRemote 4.1 is also compatible with Samsung processor which is on HTC hermes, however I don't know how well it will work. I got it free from Mirc, so just get one anyway.

Jeremy, just been to the NoviRemote website and it looks as if the deluxe version gives macro functionality.

Quote - "You may create a macro that will turn on three devices with one button. You can switch the cable TV for your favorite 155-h channel with only one click."

It looks a smart piece of software.

Cheers

I don't know if I'm being retarded, but what do you mean you got it free from Mirc?

Mirc is a internet relay chat server. You could get thousand of those softwares here for free. However you will need to know some basic commands to get the softwares though.

Another good thing about Novii is they will give more remote codes if the one's included aren't enough. Just email them with any issue and they respond. I have a FTA satellite reciever w/o remote and they emailed the extra codes.

Are all you guys getting seriously about 6 metres? On all the gear I've tried (using learning feature as most of my stuff except a VCR doesn't seem to work with the native codes) I'm getting about a metre max. So is it..

1. I'm unlucky (Tmobile Vario version if that makes a different)

2. I've naffed the IR sensor without knowing it

3. I'm running the trial mode and that function is down-tuned

or something else?
