Have had a good and lengthy search and browse through the forumss and can't find the answer to this question. Bizarrly, it looks like the search facility can't search for the word "Plus"?? There were several topics in the Modaco Online forum with "plus" in the title and it wouldn't find them. Anyway.

Are the versions of the software that you get with the Plus 35 membership the latest versions?

I am particalarly interested in the version numbers (WM5 PPC) of Resco Explorer (5.41), Opera (8.6), Sprite Backup (5.1), Pocket Weather (1.3.5). Current versions in brackets. If latest, I take it minor upgrades would be handled as if for regular registered users.

I would sign up like a shot for the latest versions.

Sorry for sounding suspicious of an almost too-good-to-be-true offer, but when you've had to watch money as closely as I have in the past, you tend to get the thumbscrews and the bright lights out to find out what the real deal is.

If the answer is positive then you can expect a new Plus member tomorrow evening after a healthy walk, possibly with some North Welsh mud still on me - though the weather forcast looks good at the moment.

Regards,
Tony.

PDAs bought and used - Psion II, Psion IIXP, Psion 3, Psion 3a, Psion 5, Psion 7, Psion Revo, Sharp SL5000D, Toshiba E740, Samsung Nexio S160, Toshiba e800, Sierra Wireless Voq, T-Mobile MDA Vario II.

Mobile Phones: Think I've forgotton some but started with a Siemens C10 on a One-to-One 12 month pre-paid contract (remember them). Now after many interims, I'm on one of T-Mobile's MDA Vario IIs.

They are the latest version as you actually download the applications from the relevent site and Paul then arranges the registration details etc.

I wonder could the PLUS section software be reorganised by OS so all the Smartphone stuff goes in one area, PPC 2002/2003 in another, WM5 in another etc.? just an idea

That's brilliant. I'm off to sign up right now.

I would've done it sooner but I fell asleep during Match of the Day :D

NB: It was tiredness from walking round Moel Famau country park in North Wales all day as opposed to boring football - mind you, it could have been when Alan Shearer started pundit-ing that it happened.

Cheers folks,
Tony.

I'm thinking this would be difficult since a lot of software offer threads are for both Smartphone and PPC platforms.
