Guest Fat Freddys Cat
I've spent a bit of time trying to figure this out and my head is about to pop, help me please. I've had a MPX200 on Orange for a couple of years and have been waiting for months for the Strtrk to become available. But it isn't in any shops here in the UK, or on any of the network's websites. I just checked the Expansys site, who can supply me one (in hot pink. which I can just about live with!) for free, on a
Guest yrreP
Keeping your number is the easiest bit..! It is called "Porting". By obtaining your PAC from Orange you can take your number to any network you wish. Contracts are a minefield these days, with each network offering different types of contracts it can be hard to choose what is best. T-Mobile appear to be one of the most favourite networks on this forum, as they offer great deals on data transfer via HSDPA, 3G etc. But as you mentioned, not many of the networks do the 8500, so you have to go the expansys route... On a side note, i like the SPV C700 (HTC MTeoR)... but it is quite large, and isn't a flip phone - so why am i mentioning it?!? Anyway, not much help, but maybe some food for thought. Guest markhammill
I bought my qtek 8500 from http://www.phones2udirect.co.uk/ last month. They do O2 12 and 18 month contracts. Last month I got the phone free on an 18 months
Guest Fat Freddys Cat
Thanks, I'll try phones2udirect, that seems to be a better deal than at expansys. I've never tried this - what are the odds that if I phone Orange and say, I really want this phone and I'll leave you to get it, they'll get hold of the phone for me?
