Is anyone else missing news because the M:Panel advert on the front page has been hanging around for a while?

Can it go away again yet?
I know it was a popular thread, but I skip straight to new posts when I think there's no new news.

Great idea! I'm all in favour of money for nothing - but I'm already signed up and am now more interested in potentially spending it on something new!

You should now be able to collapse the announcement, and the state should be remembered.

The same applies to the welcome panel, although i'm just trying to work out why the welcome panel state on the forum index doesn't seem to be remembered :)

Updated, you can now collapse both the announcement and the news / index welcome panels.

You may need to clear your cookies if it doesn't seem to be working properly for you :)

I don't have the "collapse" button on the mobile version either.
