Guest snesdude Posted November 27, 2006 Report Share Posted November 27, 2006 I'm looking for an application to customize the flashing of the LEDs on my 3125; I believe I remember seeing an application for this purpose a long time ago, but that was before I got my phone and I can't find it now. I've tried searching on Google, here, and Howardforums to no avail. Does anyone know of this application? I found out about this in a post in which the power consumption difference was described for e.g. one flash every eight seconds vs. one flash every four seconds (the numbers were likely different, but the concept is the same). The better program is Don't Forget, available at http://blog.softimage.cz/?page_id=83 . Thanks for letting us know about this app from our Czech friend. Really nice reminder app as well as a good way to control that #$@&^ green LED!! (You need to install the Beta 2 version to disable the LED.) That leaves the even more annoying and pointless Bluetooth LED. I have to have Bluetooth enabled permanently and don't like having this bright blue light annoying me all day and keeping people awake at night if I forget to turn the phone over! So, I decided to give the Don't Forget application a try. Has anybody had any battery problems using the Turn Off LED ability of the program? I've found the opposite - my battery life has definitely improved since I installed it! Are you sure it's actively jamming like that - I'd check with the author. He's good at responding to emails. I just implied that if this is the case, then the application must be a battery-eater. Anyway, I installed it this morning and my battery is still in normal levels, so I am very very pleased!!!!
