Orange is launching Europe's first "quadruple play" mobile phone service.

The move means consumers will get just one bill from the company for mobile, landline, internet and TV services.

Orange also said it would be launching a trial for customers to use one handset to cover mobile, fixed-line and voice over internet (Voip) services.

Popped into work today to see my mate and my old boss.. and the boss said that its going to be a nightmare when it all comes together.

She said tomorrow's going to be enough of a headache now that wanadoo is l'orange.. ahh, Orange is getting its thumbs in far too many pies at once..

I'm so glad I'm not a 'Broadband, TV, Landline, Mobile Phone Trainer' :)

Orange have proven they are incompetent and poor value for money, and that's just in the phone department. Would you really want them dealing with your other services also?

I was similarly stunned when NTL said they were getting into fourplay (!!!) - my enduring memory of NTL is the truly, abysmally shocking service I received. I would put NTL, Barclays, Dell and Orange on a par for utterly incompetent service. Of course Acton Housing Association make them seem helpful and knowledgable of their product in comparison but I doubt many of you have come across them!
