Hi,

I have tried several times to get my 8500 working with MMS on Vodafone and have almost gave up.

I have typed and retyped the details in!

I can access the internet but fail to get MMS photo messages

Before I give up, can some tell me if they have it working or should I give up my quest!!

Thanks

Jazz

Had it working perfectly until my 8500 crashed the other day and lost all my settings...

Try this

In MMSC settings (MMS, Options, Account Options, MMS, MMSC Settings):

Title: Vodafone MMS

MMSC URL: www.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms

WAp Gateway: 212.183.137.12

Port: 9201

Connect Via: Vodafone UK

Max Sending Size: Choose

WAP Version: 1.2

In GPRS (Settings, Connections) I have an MMS entry which says

Connects to: Vodafone UK

Access Point: wap.vodafone.co.uk

User name: wap

Password: wap

Primary DNS: 0.0.0.0

Secondary DNS: 0.0.0.0

IP Address: 212.183.137.012

Now I'm not sure where the Vodafone UK entry came from, I must confess I used Auto GPRS to set mine up.

Tried this and it did not work.. but I don't have a Vodafone UK entry to select... what is Auto GPRS?

Thanks

Stuart

It's a program you can download which does this stuff automatically.

http://www.migsoft.co.uk/

Edit: That link now seems to go to IMEI Check, but I'm sure you'll find it on Google.

Tried to find it but could not find anywhere to download the software.

Does anyone have a direct link to this software?

Thanks

Stuart

I don't have the copy I downloaded, but if you PM me I can send you the .exe file.
