GPS stopped working completely

I seem to have had this on both the HTC P3300 and the MDA Compact III now.

Basically, the GPS isn't 'enabling' when you initiate a connection, so it's unusable... fixed only by a hard reset. I guess it's a software conflict of some kind, but it seems to happen at random and doesn't correspond to a software install... very frustrating

Anyone else seen this?

Not yet. I have had problems with my Micro SD getting corrupted after using TomTom which is very annoying but nothing like this.

So I went to the Doctors yesterday. He said, "What appears to be the problem?". I said, "I keep having this dream, night after night, beautiful girls keep rushing towards me and I keep pushing them away." He said, "How can I help?" I said: "Break my arms."

The GPS has worked flawlessly on mine, despite a fair bit of adding and removing programs. I suppose you could try removing applications one by one to try to find the culprit (assuming its a software conflict), although intermittent faults like yours are always a nightmare to get to the bottom of!
