I can't vouch for Orange but I got a Dash from the states and its working fine on Vodafone IE so you should have no problems as Orange are a hell of alot better than Voda IE when it comes to Smartphones!

I use San Disk. Bought my last few cards from an ebay store and haven't had any problems with them. Good price too (but then again prices in Ireland tend to be a bit higher than the UK for these sort of things)

ebay store what sells micro sd cards

And last but not least, get rid of that Nokia POS :)

PS- The excalibur is a great phone, hope you enjoy it!!

Thanks for the link and encouraging words! :)

the N73 is one of the worst phones I have had, got it for 18 months due to my current contract but cant stand the POS, Nokia gone right down in my estimation, years ago Nokia was the dogs, now there .......

Cant wait to get back to a WM phone, last one was c600, but had a C500, and most of the previous ones :D

I bought a 2GB Transcend TS2GUSD for around 45$US. Under Vista on a USB 2.0 connection it tested for ReadyBoost at Random Read 3568 KB/s, Sequential Write 2293 KB/s. (By comparison, the fastest USB2.0 flash memory key available (an Apacer HT203 200x) tested at Random Read 8041KB/s, Sequential Write 9519KB/s.)

For a microSD card I thought that was pretty good and is certainly not a limiting factor in, say, video playback... the Dash seems to be limited to somewhere around a total throughput of 420Kbps. Of course, I'm not familiar with Transcend over the longer haul as this is the first time I've tried the brand.
