You know how when you install a Windows Mobile application via Windows Mobile Device Center, if your device is disconnected, it pops up a dialogue saying it'll install next time you plug in?

You know how it actually doesn't install next time you plug in?

Well here's the fix :) All you need to do is run (from the start menu or from a handily created shortcut) 'ceappmgr'. This launches the add / remove appication dialogue, which in turn the installs the application. Job done!

Just when can we see a nice sidebar gadget for WMDC?

I hate using that big clunky monster of a window! Perhaps a MoDaCo developer challenge please? :)

Hey kids, not a direct reply to this topic as such, but thought most people who this may have affected would be looking here. I'm running vista with WMDC and it always thinks the device has been unplugged whilst installing apps, is anyone else experiancing this and if so have you come up with a solution?
