A more expensive, but workable solution would be to run Windows XP/Vista in Parallels (or BootCamp) on your Macbook, and ActiveSync through there. Obviously not ideal if your primary data is local on your Mac, but if all you need is a sync connection to an Exchange Server, ActiveSync will work fine. I used to use MissingSync for my HTC Universal, but was underwhelmed with it. I now use the above solution for my Artemis on my work's Macbook Pro.
