Hi All,

Over the past few weeks I've noticed I have not been recognised as me by the site (PC & mobile) and have kept on having to sign in again and again (I am 'remembered' when signing in).
Is this a site issue - or is some trojan eating my cookies??

Please try clearing your cookies, and then see if the problem gets fixed... please report back!

Its more of an overnight thing Paul. It seems to remember log in between browser sessions during the day - then when you come back the next day... you are logged out.

I cleared my cookies the other day and it seemed fin - but this morning first vists to IE7 and was logged out.

I'm using IE7 too but I can't see it's related to that because it's been the same in PIE too.
I'll clear all my cookies, login again and see what happens tomorrow.

Exactly what I am getting, logged in between sessions even at work but comes a new day then it's log in time.

Interestingly, I deleted all cookies after reading awarner's reply @ 1600ish, clicked a link in an email to return to the page and logged in. After doing that - as usual - it returned to the front page (rather than the topic being read, which I find a little annoying), but my last visit was displayed as 1430, not 1600.

i've had the same situation and i use Firefox at home and IE6 at work...    at first i took it personally...

if only i knew how to clear cookies (and surf history for that matter!!)..........

I haven't noticed this problem at work, I must admit. The shared PC's there are rarely turned off and different users login to them every few minutes (even at night), so maybe its related to rebooting the machine somehow? This could relate to my Vario II being soft-reset every-so-often due to freezing / locking up?

Dunno, things like this are beyond my level of understanding

In Firefox Ctrl+shift+del, just click Delete Cookies in IE6 options.

I seem to be getting this logging out constantly, I close the tab in firefox, come back later and am logged out   Might not have cleared cookies for a while though, I'll do it and see what happen.

Edit/Well that seems to have fixed it. Wonder what was happening

I'm just trying to work out if the system is IP checking... i.e. if your IP changes, it logs u out.

Not sure if it is IP... as this logs me out when laptop hasnt moved - and although I dont have a fixed IP at home, it wont have changed overnight.

Although I have logged in via a different network this afternoon and consequently had to log back in when I got home!

The same is happening to me and I'm not sure I can pin down a pattern.

Paul is away for the weekend but I'll make sure he's aware that the problem is unresolved.

It was still an issue when I turned my laptop on this morning (after spending yesterday with it connected to a clients LAN)... but maybe you mean "NOW" as in this afternoon... so will let you know tomorrow.

not bothered about it but thought you'd wanna know its still doing it...
