Headphone Jack

Hi,

Am seriously thinking that the Trinity will be my next phone. However I have a question that I can't seem to see an answer to anywhere: What sort of headphone jack does it use?

One of the important uses for my phone is as an MP3 player. I have my current SPV m600 in an excellent Brodit holder ni the car. I have a 2.5mm to 3.5mm converter plugged into the m600 and then that cable is plugged into the AUX in port on my stereo, meaning my m600 can pipe mp3s right into the car stereo. Excellent. That also means that Jane's voice in TomTom comes over the stereo too. This is important to me.

Does the SPV m700/Trinity/ have a different earphone jack? Can you plug 3.5mm headphones into it?

Thanks for any answers...

Unfortunately, the Trinity goes the way of all recent HTC devices in having the headphone socket as part of the USB port. This means you need an adapter to run proper headphones, and also a 'double adapter' if you want to use a power source at the same time. I believe the relevant adapterws are avaialble, but it all adds to the cable mess!
