What's everyone using as a car mount?

I am told a Brodit mount is on the way, which is always my holder of choice...

I velcro'd a thin sheet of metal to the dash and let the Ameo's magnets do the rest......  ;)

No, seriously, I did. It works.

I was hoping there'd be some metal in the dash at a useful point, but sadly not ;)

Hi all,

first post after reading your initial review of the Ameo/Athena/Advantage and decided on registering on the site and "hopefully" getting an Ameo next week. In drawing up my shopping list of accessories, I came across this car mount:
http://www.expansys....&asource=145430
anyone had experience of it? Looks ok.

nice site btw.

One of the best places to get anytype of carholder would be right here:

http://www.proclipus...osecountry.aspx

They have holders not only for devices but based on cars as well.

Proclip are Brodit aren't they?

I have the powered Brodit mount - all I need now is for the garage to fix my car after they smashed it when the brakes failed.... I did have it back for a week after geting a new petrol tank fitted so at least I have had some use from my brodit holder.

I have this bracket and can say it is very good.  It fits the unit perfectly and does not block any buttons.  It makes my device look like a TomTom on the dash.  The mount is also flexible/adjustable.  It uses a suction cup type mount with a lever that creates good adhesion to th glass.  I like it.

Did you get it with the £10 discount from Modaco?

I prefer the Brodit mount.
