T-Mobile Compact III: contact persons can not be opened

Hi,

I tried a program on my MDA Compact III and then uninstalled it. During the procedure, I don't know what has happened, the contact person of the system can not be opened. As a consequence, the phone program and agenda do not work perperly.
Does any one have idea what happened? How to fixed it?
Is there a way to re-set Compact III to the factory setting?
