I'm in need of a bit of guidance please. I have a 4Gb miniSD card which is refusing to play the game. The card itself is working, my PC recognises it, but my o2 mini s won't. I've tried reformatting it, reformatting as FAT instead of FAT32, but it isn't having any of it. Could any of the peeps out there who have a 4Gb mini SD card in their wizard, k-jam etc etc give me a hint as to what I'm missing? Its probably blindingly obvious to all but me, and I'll end up posting a DOH! reply, but at the moment I'm up the Shat-Al-Araf without a Diplomat!

Oh dear, I think I may have just answered my own question. Having a nose around on XDA-developers I came across a thread about exactly the same thing. In the interests of helping those who follow, it would appear to be due to the age of my mini s. this can be determined from the serial number which is formatted such that the first 2 letters indicate the site of manufacture, the first number is the last digit of the year (5=2005, 6=2006 etc) the next 2 digits are the week of the year (1-52). It seems that those manufactured before Jun 2006 are not and will not (ever) be able to handle a 4Gb card - Its a hardware thang?! Those manufactured after that date can, but it seems to be a bit hit and miss, some say card dependant, others say firmware dependant. In short, if you have one that works - lucky you. If you don't - do like me, get rid of the card you brought and get a couple of 2Gb ones. I guess as long as you load all the essential items on to both you won't have any problems with crashing. Should still have room for loads of music on one and vids on the other.
