Continuing with my range of MoDaCo splashes for various phones, I give you my MoDaCo splash screen for wizard ;)

Unfortunately this time we have a few limitations:
  • No SuperCID version
  • Only ONE flavour compared to my Hermes/Trinity versions (4 flavours each)
  • Device MAY have to be SuperCID (not tested)
  • REPORTED NOT TO WORK ON G4 WIZARDS!
Instructions
Download the attached RUU_Splash.exe
Make sure your phone is connected via USB
Run RUU_Splash.exe
Follow the instructions
Wait while it flashes (30 seconds or so)
Done :D

Phil

[EDIT: Confirmed working :(]

:D

Got plans for a few more devices as well, as soon as we can flash unsigned code to them (the tornado/wizard wasn't a problem as i could sign the nbf with the HTC certificate), I'll start rolling out the splash screens ;)

Nice work Doc, it works fine.  And in a roundabout kinda way it seems to have un-bricked my Wizard ;) (although that could have just been coincidence! ;p)

I still exist

Didn't work for me Phil

T-Mo were nice enough to give me a shiny new phone for my old one ;)
Unfortunately it's a G4. Perhaps this is why it didn't work?

Most likely, G4 models are a b@st**d to CID unlock etc. so the noID method used here probably won't work.

I'll look into a work around for this as at present there is no FREE way to CID unlock G4 wizards

Yeah, I picked it up and it was a mixture of 'Ooh look, a new phone!' then firing it up and seeing the extra numbers appear...

Heya all.

Attached to this post is the MoDaCo Dude boot/splash for a G4 Wizard.

It's bundled a bit differently to the Doctors but just plug your Wizard in and run the newromupdateutility_wizard_noid.exe program and it will rewrite both splash screens. If you would like to change the third splash screen as well then just install the cab (Modacodude.cab) on your device and restart and you will see the MoDaCo due over and over again!

This cab can also be used for G3 Wizards, I hope you guys who own G4s are content now and if you would like me to make you a splash screen just shout!

Splash Screen Is Here
