I have seen that on the new vox there's a voice "windows update" in the settings area.
but when I try to check if update is available I immediately receive an error message.
even if I put a flag on "use network data".
whatever I choose, I get the error.
did you try it?

With a valid internet connection the windows update works fine. I've used wifi at home and at work.

No updates tho. surprising

same for me (with a french unit throw wifi)
