My thoughts on the E650

Hi guys

I got my E650 yesterday and had a bit of a go today, I just wanted to post a few thoughts I had.

it's been a while since I had a Smartphone (I had the first SPV, then the C500) and I just loved the look of the E650 and had to get one.

I love the mini USB plug, when I heard HTC had made another type I though oh no, I have to buy/use new leads but to my amazement mini usb still works :rolleyes: fantastic.

My last Smartphone (c500) and other windows mobile always came with outlook but I was surprised that the E650 only came with the 2007 trial (60 days), this was a bit disappointing :P

Skype... I can use Skype away from my pc, I love it!!!! (but only works on speaker phone?????)

Also looking forward to Paul's orange de-brander as the icons that orange use make it look ugly :D

Where has messenger gone!!!!, all the other Smartphone has it? Can it be installed?

I am with you on the ExtUSB connection.

When my S710 came, I already had -- from old cameras and other gadgets -- numerous cables and plugins for syncing and charging already!

No more of this "buy a dodgy connector from ebay every few months that breaks".

As few more things hae come to mind...

Outlook2007 is great but it can't sync the rss feeds or internet calendars that I have..

I am missing messenger and I hope orange releases it soon.
