I posted this else where but buried it in another topic so I thought I should give it it's own thread

There is an easy way to remove the battery cover. You hold it in your hand with the bottom of the battery cover on the heel of your hand (just below the palm) and your fingers folded around to the front over the keyboard. Slide the phone toward your wrist using your fingers to push slightly down and away from the palm. It's all done with one hand. Kind of hard to describe - works like a charm when you get the hang of it.

I have only had trouble getting it off twice, the first time and the second time. I haven't had any trouble since. Still tight, but not ridiculous like it was out of the box.
