Guest barfoo
Is it possible to view the information that is in the pim.vol from a windows application? I do not have outlook and been unable to test with that. This is actually waayyyyy harder than it looks. The format is complex and only accessible by writing C code, using the "POOM" programming interface. There are no quick ways to do this. However! One way that worked for me (Orange SPV M5000, though it should work with any Pocket PC): 1. Download POExport (free) from http://poexport.berlios.de/ 2. copy the .exe and the .dll and the csvtemplate.csv file to the root of your Pocket PC (directory "/") 3. run the exe 4. this generates contacts.csv The contacts.csv has all the info you need. Also (amazingly) it can be imported directly into Gmail. - Aaron Bell http://aaronbell.org
