Hey all,

Im just wondering if anyone can point me to a place where I can get one of these on contract from the UK.

Ive had a look around all the operators and no one seems to have it :-(

I could buy one SIM free-- who has the best deal?

Orange are now offering the i600.

Expansys will do it on O2 or Vodafone.

If T-Mo is your bag, get a contract with a resellable device (Ameo, N95), flog it on eBay, then buy a i600.

Apparently the Orange branded ones have a problem - if you change the ringtone they hang.  Minor thing, not the sort of thing that testing would have shown up eh?!

I got mine unbranded from hi-mobile.net - imported from HK (no import charges either.  So far at least).

Cheers for that mate, im holding off until the orange problems are fixed (and the all you can eat data bundles are fully confirmed) --- the samsung branded ones seem fine tho, looks like orange have made some sort of mistake.

Do the ones from HK run on the correct frequency?

I just picked one up from Expansys 305 quid including shipping. Reckon it was a good deal. PS-it came with an additional 'extended life battery' and a back cover to accomodate the extended life battery.
