Over in this topic in the HTC Vox area, there has been much discussion about the problems installing software on to the SPV E650, and how it generally results in the 'spinning wheel' permanently at the end of the installation.

It turns out that there might be a fix, that consists of...

- unlocking using the Orange utility
- running an additional CAB to provide extra policy changes

We're looking for E650 users with the problem to let us know if it works or not!

To get the fix, head on over to my post with the CAB download, and reply in that topic with how it works out for you!

Hello,

Yes, your solution works as I had identified the same fix before reading your post. It would seem that the hang is something to do with the security policy, so by disabling the security policy (app. unlocking), that seems to do it.

Can you tel me where I can get the Orange utility that unlocks the E650? I think that is what is blocking me installaing a couple of spb Software apps and Skype Mobile.
