Stereo earphone for Wizard

I tried to use window media player yesterday and found a problem. It is not stereo sound. The earphone came with PPC has two earpieces but only left one works. So I put the stereo earphone of my MPX200/220 on and still the same. Did I missed something or something wrong with my PPC?

i would be more incline to think there is somthing wrong with the headphones before i start look at the ppc.
